The Marshall County Health Department is advertising for a Administrative Secretary (Grade 13) position.
Credentials/qualifications required: High school diploma/GED. Three years of moderately difficult secretarial experience.
Experience: Education and training in Public Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, Public Health, Community Health, or closely related field may substitute for the required experience on a year for year basis.

Scope of Work:
This position reports directly to the Public Health Director. Scope of work includes Compiling and completing data on Administrative public reports, bulletins, questionnaires, and other documents. Answer and screen phone calls. Make travel arrangements for conferences, committee meetings, Board of Health meetings. Take minutes for Leadership Team meetings, Board of Health meetings, and other meetings as needed. Schedule appointments for Public Health Director. Analyze various forms of public health data for patterns, and trends. Build reports, spreadsheets, graphs, and charts. Place ads for the recruitment process. Complete recruitment processes in accordance with the Personnel Reference Guide. Develop application review matrixes. Develop interview questionnaires and matrixes. Complete recruitment processes in CDP portal. Schedule and track employee drug screenings. Complete employee onboarding processes. Maintain personnel files for current and past employees. Complete personnel actions in CDP portal. Maintain employee 096 evaluation system and Personal Performance Plans. Maintain employee training and training tracking system. Maintain personnel policies and SOPs to include the employee handbook. Maintain employee position descriptions. Complete worker's compensation and FMLA processes.
Compensation and hours: $13.66 - $16.94. Pay will be within this range depending upon level of experience
